EVENT RULES
• Driver must REGISTER and declare home track by Friday, May 4th, 2018
• Driver must have a membership at the track he or she lists as their home track
• Anyone that does not qualify for an event will get 20 points
• Heat winners get 2 bonus points
• 100 bonus points will be added to overall points if you have 75% 0o more attendance at your home track (to be honest we didn’t do this last year)
• 30 Bonus points for every added combined event you attend (we didn’t do this last year either)
PROCEDURES
- 8 Lap Heats,
- 8 Lap B-Mains,
- 40 to 50 Lap Feature (tracks preference).
- 24 cars to start the feature plus two provisional starters, one for top DotD driver in points and one for top Home Track Driver in points not making the show.
- Pull for heat starting Position, features per below.
Less Than 30 Cars will be 3 heats
o If we have 3 heats the top 3 redraw for a total of 9 and to 6 qualify for a total of 18
o All cars outside the top 9 will start heads up (i.e. the 4th place car in the first heat starts 10th)
o B-Main line ups are determined from the heats (i.e. the 7th place car in the first heat starts pull in B-Main)
o 1 B-Main for 6 final spots (B-Main cars line up heads up behind qualified cars)
31 to 40 Cars will be 4 heats
o If we have 4 heats the top 3 redraw for a total of 12 and to 5 qualify for a total of 20
o All cars outside the top 12 will start heads up (i.e. the 4th place car in the first heat starts 13th)
o B-Main line ups are determined from the heats (i.e. the 6th place car in the first heat starts pull in B-Main)
o If 32 cars or less than one B-Main of 1o or less cars for 4 final spots
o If 33 to 36 cars than 2 B-Mains for 2 final spots each
o B-Main cars line up heads up behind qualified cars
o Two provisional starters to start 25 and 26th, Top non-qualified home track Car, Top Non-Qualified DotD car
41 or more cars will be 5 heats
o If we have 5 heats the top 2 redraw for a total of 10 and to 4 qualify for a total of 20
o All cars outside the top 10 will start heads up (i.e. the 3th place car in the first heat starts 11th)
o B-Main line ups are determined from the heats (i.e. the 5th place car in the first heat starts pull in B-Main)
o We split the cars in two B-Mains for 2 feature spots each
o B-Main cars line up heads up behind qualified cars
o Two provisional starters to start 25 and 26th, Top non-qualified home track car, Top Non-Qualified DotD car
